刘晓原教授学术简历
    美国爱荷华大学博士（1990）。曾任教于芝加哥大学历史系、纽约州立大学波茨坦学院历史系、哈佛大学历史系。1997-1999年任美国社会科学研究协会-麦克阿瑟基金会博士后研究员，驻哈佛大学费正清东亚研究中心。2002-2003年任美国威尔逊国际学者中心亚洲政策研究员。目前在国内担任《冷战国际史研究》杂志编委、《冷战国际史丛书》编委等。
主要著作包括: A Partnership for Disorder: China, the United States, and Their Policies for Postwar Disposition of the Japanese Empire, 1941-1945 (1996); Frontier Passages: Ethnopolitics and the Rise of Chinese Communism, 1921-1945 (2004); Reins of Liberation: An Entangled History of Mongolian Independence, Chinese Territoriality, and Great Power Hegemony, 1911-1950 (2006); Recast All Under Heaven: Revolution, War, Diplomacy, and Frontier China in the 20th Century
